The Water Commission shall be comprised of seven members who
shall be appointed by the Mayor. The chairperson shall serve a two
year term, expiring at the end of each odd numbered year. The six
remaining members shall serve three year terms, with the terms of
two members to expire at the end of each year.
The specific powers and the duties of the Water Commission shall
include:
Creation and maintenance of a master plan for the operation,
maintenance and improvement of municipal water and sewer facilities
and services.
Provide recommendations in regard to the management and maintenance
of municipal water and sewer facilities and services.
Recommend programs and funding for improvements of water and
sewer facilities and services.
Recommend any necessary rules and regulations for governing
City water and sewer services.
