There is created the office of Plumbing Inspector, who shall
be appointed by the President.
It shall be the duty of the Plumbing Inspector to examine and
approve or disapprove all plumbing installations. Where the same conform
to the provisions of this Code, the Plumbing Inspector shall approve
the installations.
The Plumbing Inspector shall not receive any regular salary
for his or her services, but shall be entitled to retain 1/2 of the
inspection fee for each installation examined, the remaining 1/2 to
be paid to the Village Collector.
