Council of the Borough of Jefferson Hills hereby establishes
the position of independent auditor to make an independent examination
of the accounting records of the Borough for each fiscal year and
such independent auditor shall also perform the other duties and exercise
the powers as conferred upon him by law.

Council of the Borough of Jefferson Hills, by resolution, shall
appoint said independent auditor immediately upon the adoption of
this Part. Hereafter, Council shall appoint said independent auditor
by resolution annually before the close of each fiscal year.

The offices of elected Borough Auditor are hereby abolished.
Said elected auditors shall not audit, settle or adjust the accounts
audited by such independent auditor.
