1986 Code of Ordinances)]
The City Council of the City of Washington, Pennsylvania will
maintain the following benefits:
A. Coverage. All full-time employees;
B. Benefit commencement date.
(1) Accident disability: first day of total disability.
(2) Sickness disability: first day of total disability.
(3) In no event before the expiration of the employee's accumulated City
sick leave or deficit sick leave granted to the employee by the employer
or vacation days elected by the employee.
C. Maximum benefit. For any one period of total disability, whether
from one or more causes: 26 weeks of benefits.
D. Weekly benefit rate. Seventy percent of the employee's weekly earnings,
the product taken to the nearest multiple of $1.

E. Continuance in coverage during absence from full-time work:
