This chapter is established pursuant to the provisions of §§ 60.77,
66.0627, 66.0821 and 66.0703, Wisconsin Statutes, and Chapters NR
811 and SPS 382, Wis. Adm. Code.
The purpose of this chapter is to establish necessary regulations
for the use of sewer and water facilities in the Village and to establish
a fair and equitable basis for special assessments, connection fees
and user charges sufficient to meet all Village financial obligations
in connection with the construction, reconstruction, improvement,
extension, operation, maintenance, repair and depreciation of all
sewer and water facilities in the Village.
The State Plumbing Code of Wisconsin, Chapter SPS 382, Wis.
Adm. Code, is hereby adopted.
The requirements and standards of this chapter are minimum requirements
and standards for the Village of Greenville. Other requirements and
standards, including but not limited to the Wisconsin Administrative
Code and the Grand Chute-Menasha West Sewer Use Ordinance, may apply.
Where there is any conflict between the standards and requirements
of this chapter and any other duly adopted and applicable state or
local requirement, the most restrictive requirement shall apply. Authorization
granted and permits issued under this chapter only authorize use and
improvements under the terms of this chapter.
