The Borough Council shall appoint a Tax Assessor and may appoint
two (2) Deputy Tax Assessors. The Assessor and Deputy Assessors shall
hold office for a term of four (4) years from the first day of July
next following appointment. Vacancies other than due to expiration
of term of office shall be filled by appointment for the unexpired
term.
