(a) No person shall operate or cause to be operated any human-powered
scooter, skateboard or skates on the streets, highways or other public
areas designated for motor vehicle use or on the sidewalks within
the business zones of the Borough of Morris Plains.
(b) For purposes of this chapter, the following zones, as designated
on the Zoning Map of the Borough of Morris Plains, shall constitute
the business zones in which the above regulation shall apply: B-1,
B-2, B-3, C-1 and 1.
(c) No person shall operate or cause to be operated any human-powered
scooter, skateboard or skates in any parking lots of business, commercial
or industrial properties within the Borough of Morris Plains without
prior written approval of the property owner and a copy of the same
placed on file with the Chief of Police.

Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall, upon
conviction, be punished by a fine not to exceed $50.
