Records of the City which are deemed by the City Council to be of no further value to the City may be disposed of in a manner provided in § 11 of Act No. 470 of the Public Acts of 2016, as amended (MCLA § 399.811).

The City Manager shall cause to be compiled and maintained an inventory of all City records affected by the provisions of the statute referred to in Section 2-1. Such inventory shall state the quantity, physical location and function of such records and shall establish a schedule of disposition, which schedule and amendments thereto shall become effective upon approval by the City Council, the Sate Historical Commission and the State Administrative Board.
