Fees shall be collected pursuant to §
3-22E for the following activities and services. The amount of each fee is set forth in §
149-25, Park and recreation fees.
A. Park event fee for the issuance of a permit for special events pursuant to Article
IV held on, or within, park facilities.
B. Facility use fee for the use of various park facilities such as fields,
structures, and picnic areas for organized activities.
C. Equipment use fee for the use of items such as tents, picnic tables,
stages, canoes, kayaks, etc.

D. Light fee for the use of lights on sporting fields.
E. Parking and access fees:
(1) Buses: a fee paid by any bus (or minibus) transporting persons into
park facilities, with the exception that parking and access fees shall
not be charged to any bus or minibus transporting:
(a)
Cumberland County residents into park facilities.
(b)
Persons who are participating in athletic events within park
facilities.
(c)
Senior citizens to park facilities.
F. Special event fees specified in §
149-25 and 25% of any estimated support labor and associated equipment costs shall be paid 14 calendar days prior to the scheduled special event.

At the discretion of the Mayor or Business Administrator, with recommendations by the Department Director, the fees described in §
247-14 and/or §
149-25 may be waived, in whole or in part, where a program or activity is primarily benefiting the public and the public interest is best served and not the personal or commercial interests of the requester.
The Department Director shall specify the information required
by the bus permit application, which may include the following information:
A. Name and address of the organization.
B. Name of the person responsible for the organization using park facilities.
C. Description of the bus transporting persons to park facilities, including
the name of registered owner, the year, make, model and color of the
bus.
D. Number of persons on the bus.
E. Length of time that the bus and its passengers will remain in the
park facilities.
F. Purpose for which passengers on the bus will use the park facilities.
G. Amount of the fee to be paid by the organization.
