City of Holland, MI DIVISION 2 Refuse and Recyclable Material Contractor(s)/Designated Contract Hauler(s)

Sec. 27-22 Designation as hauler required.

(a) No person shall engage in the business of collecting or disposing of refuse or recyclable material in the City from residential service users unless such person is a designated contract hauler(s) who contracted with the City for the collection of refuse and recyclable material from residential service users.

(b) Except as set forth in Section 27-27, no person shall engage in the business of collecting or disposing of yard clippings in the City from residential service users unless such person is a designated contract hauler(s) who contracted with the City for the collection of yard clippings from residential service users.

Sec. 27-23 Requirements.

In addition to any requirements established by this chapter, the requirements for the collecting and disposing of refuse, recyclable materials and yard clippings from residential service users shall be incorporated and set forth in a contract executed by the City and the designated contract hauler(s).
