For the purpose of this Article, the term "pinball machine" shall mean a game played with any number of balls or spheres upon a table or board or other flat surface having holes, pockets or cups into which such balls or spheres may drop or become lodged or having posts or pins thereon which may be struck by such balls or spheres and having arches, pins or springs to control, deflect or impede the direction or speed of balls or spheres put in motion by the player.

A. 
No pinball machine which is so designed as to permit a change of odds by means of the insertion of extra coins by a player shall be placed or kept in any premises or establishment which is open to members of the general public within the City of Olivette.
B. 
No pinball machine which is so designed so as to permit the release or elimination of free plays by means of a button, knockoff circuit or other device without having such free plays played off and which is so designed so as to provide a means for recording the plays so released shall be placed or kept in any premises or establishment which is open to members of the general public within the City of Olivette.

Any pinball machine now located within the City and prohibited by this Chapter shall be removed within seven (7) days from the date of adoption of this Article.
