A.
The City of Wildwood shall be a body politic
and corporate by the name of "City of Wildwood."
B.
The City by the name of "City of Wildwood"
is a Charter City by virtue of the election held November 4, 1997
at which the citizens of the City of Wildwood approved the Charter
of the City of Wildwood. A certified copy of the election results
is on file in the City offices and incorporated herein by reference.
C.
The City of Wildwood is incorporated by
Order of Incorporation of the County Council of the County of St.
Louis, State of Missouri, on the 29th day of June, 1995, and Revised
Order of the County Council of the County of St. Louis, State of Missouri,
on the 10th day of August 1995. Certified copies of both orders are
on file in the City offices and incorporated herein by reference.
D.
The City shall have all powers which the
General Assembly of the State of Missouri has authority to confer
upon any City, provided such powers are consistent with the Constitution
of this State and are not limited or denied, either by the Charter
or by Statute. The City shall, in addition to its home rule powers,
have all powers conferred by law.
E.
The first Mayor, Council Members, and other
specified officers of the City shall be those individuals identified
in Section 3 of the Orders of St. Louis County, dated June 29, 1995,
and incorporating the City.

The metes and bounds and boundaries
of the "City of Wildwood" shall be the same as is contained in the
plat map and legal description which are on file in the City offices.
