A.
The
following structures or uses are exempt from the regulations of this
Chapter and shall be permitted in any district. This Section shall
not be construed to exempt any public utility from other ordinances
or regulations of the County including, but not limited to, franchise
agreements and applicable building codes.
1.
Poles, wires, cables, conduits, vaults (when totally screened), laterals,
pipes, tanks, mains, valves or any other similar equipment for transmission,
treatment or distribution to customers of telephone, cable television
or other communication services, electricity, gas, steam or water
or the collection of sewage or surface water operated or maintained
by a public utility (see also Section 64.820, RSMo.);
2.
Railroad tracks, signals, bridges and similar facilities and equipment
located on a railroad right-of-way;
3.
Municipal facilities and equipment, salt domes, County maintenance
facilities, poles, street and highway lights and ball park lights.
