Town of Royalton, NY Article III Term of Office of Tax Collector

§ 107-12 Four-year term.

The term of office of the elected Town Tax Collector shall be four years. Such four-year term shall commence as of the first day of January, following the first biennial Town election at which a person is elected to such office. Thereafter, the Town Tax Collector shall be elected for terms of four years. The four-year term provided by this section shall also apply to the person elected to such office at the election to be held on November 4, 2008.

§ 107-13 Supersession of Town Law.

This article shall supersede Town Law, § 24 relating to the term of office for Town Tax Collector of the Town of Royalton.
