All applications for new subdivisions shall be accompanied by
a non-refundable check in the amount of one hundred dollars ($100.00)
made payable to the City of Byrnes Mill, Missouri. In addition thereto,
any applicant for a new subdivision within the City of Byrnes Mill
shall pay the actual costs incurred by the City in retaining an engineer
or other professional or qualified individual for reviewing said application.
Prior to reviewing said application, the City may request the estimated
costs of such review to be paid in advance by the person, corporation
or entity requesting such application. In the event the actual cost
of said review is greater to the City than the estimated cost, then
the person, corporation or entity shall be required to pay the remaining
amount due to the City prior to receiving any such approval or denial
of said application. In the event the cost is less than the estimated
amount, then the City shall refund the additional payment to the person,
corporation or entity at such time of approval or denial of said application.
