The City of Battlefield is hereby divided into the following zoning districts. The regulations for each district are set forth in Article V, Zoning District Regulations.
"R-LD"
Single-Family Low Density Residence District
"R-1"
Single-Family Residence District
"R-2"

"R-3"
Multifamily Residence District
"R-4"
Manufactured Home Residence District
"C-1"
Neighborhood Business District

A. 
Zoning Map Designated.
1. 
There shall be an official map known and designated as the City of Battlefield Zoning Map which shall show all the boundaries of all zoning districts within the City limits. This map shall be kept in the Battlefield City Hall.
2. 
The City of Battlefield Zoning Map, with all notations, references and other matters shown thereon, is incorporated herein by reference. Amendments to this Map shall be made in accordance with the procedures set forth in Article III, Administrative Procedures.
B. 
District Boundaries On Zoning Map. Where uncertainty exists with respect to the boundaries of the various districts as shown on the Zoning Map, the following rules shall apply:
1. 
Boundaries indicated as approximately following the center lines of streets, highways or alleys shall be construed to follow center lines.
2. 
Boundaries indicated as approximately following platted lot lines shall be construed as following such lot lines.
3. 
Boundaries indicated as following City limit lines shall be construed as following such City limits.
4. 
Boundaries indicated as following creeks, streams or other public ways shall be construed as following the center line of such creeks, streams or other public ways.
5. 
Where the district boundaries do not coincide with Section 400.300(B)(1) through (4) above, the district boundaries shall be determined from the scale of the Zoning Map.
6. 
Any area not shown on the Zoning Map as being included in any district shall be deemed to be automatically included in the "R-1" Single-Family Residence District.
7. 
Whenever any street, alley or other public way is vacated by official action, the zoning district adjoining each side of such street, alley or public way shall automatically be extended to the center line of such vacation and all area included in the vacation shall be subject to all appropriate regulations of the extended district.

All territory annexed to the City of Battlefield after the effective date of this Chapter shall maintain the zoning classification nearest to that designated by Greene County, except that agriculturally zoned property shall be automatically zoned "R-1."
