The billing demand for a billing month shall be the greater
of the highest 15 minutes of demand measured during the billing month.
All measured demands shall be adjusted for power factor as provided
below.
The power factor shall be determined from time to time by test
(or by continuous monitoring) at a time when the customer's load is
not less than 2/3 of the maximum registered demand in the preceding
11 months. If this test power factor is less than 95%, the measured
demand shall be increased by the ratio between 95% and the power factor
determined by test to determine the billing demand.
If the electricity is measured at primary voltage (4,160 volts)
rather than at the 34,500 volts delivery voltage, all measurements
shall be increased by 2% to compensate for transformer losses.
