The following shall constitute core on-street parking meter locations in the Borough of Lansdale:
A. 
West Main Street.
(1) 
On the north side of West Main Street, beginning approximately 798 feet from the intersection of Broad Street and ending 1,281 feet therefrom.
(2) 
On the south side of West Main Street, beginning approximately 1,060 feet from the intersection of Broad Street and ending approximately 1,282 feet therefrom.
B. 
Madison Street.
(1) 
On the north and east sides of Madison Street, beginning approximately 465 feet from the intersection of West Main Street and ending approximately 702 feet therefrom.
(2) 
On the south side of Madison Street, beginning approximately 55 feet from the intersection of North Wood Street and ending approximately 296 feet in an easterly direction therefrom.
(3) 
On the north side of Madison Street, beginning approximately 52 feet from the intersection of North Wood Street and ending approximately 148 feet in a westerly direction therefrom.
C. 
Railroad Avenue.
(1) 
On the east side of Railroad Avenue, beginning approximately 113 feet from the intersection of West Main Street and ending approximately 626 feet in a southerly direction therefrom.
The following shall constitute secondary on-street parking meter locations in the Borough of Lansdale:
A. 
North Broad Street.
(1) 
On the east side of North Broad Street, beginning approximately 73 feet from the intersection of East Second Street and ending approximately 133 feet in a northerly direction therefrom.
(2) 
On the east side of North Broad Street, beginning approximately 60 feet from the intersection of Hudson Alley and ending approximately 96 feet in a northerly direction therefrom.
(3) 
On the west side of North Broad Street, from the intersection of Hudson Alley to the intersection of West Third Street.
B. 
Courtland Street.
(1) 
On the north side of Courtland Street, beginning approximately 94 feet from the intersection of Green Street and ending approximately 204 feet therefrom.
(2) 
On the north side of Courtland Street, beginning approximately 33 feet from the intersection of Susquehanna Avenue and ending approximately 173 feet in a westerly direction therefrom.
C. 
Green Street.
(1) 
On the west side of Green Street, beginning approximately 49 feet from the intersection of West Main Street and ending approximately 161 feet in a southerly direction therefrom.
(2) 
On the west side of Green Street, beginning approximately 20 feet from the intersection of Courtland Street and ending approximately 178 feet in a southerly direction therefrom.
D. 
West Main Street.
(1) 
On the south side of West Main Street, beginning approximately 94 feet from the intersection of Richardson Avenue and ending approximately 244 feet in an easterly direction therefrom.
(2) 
On the north side of West Main Street, beginning approximately 35 feet from the intersection of North Wood Street and ending approximately 204 feet in a westerly direction therefrom.
(3) 
On the north side of West Main Street, beginning approximately 251 feet from the intersection of North Wood Street and ending approximately 294 feet in a westerly direction therefrom.
E. 
Walnut Street.
(1) 
On the east side of Walnut Street, from the intersection of West Main Street to the intersection of West Second Street.
(2) 
On the west side of Walnut Street, beginning approximately 87 feet from the intersection of West Main Street and ending approximately 186.9 feet therefrom.
(3) 
On the west side of Walnut Street, beginning approximately 232 feet from the intersection of West Main Street and ending approximately 397 feet therefrom.
(4) 
On the west side of Walnut Street, beginning approximately 473 feet from the intersection of West Main Street and ending approximately 518 feet therefrom.
(5) 
On the west side of Walnut Street, beginning approximately 548 feet from the intersection of West Main Street and ending approximately 591 feet therefrom.
(6) 
On the west side of Walnut Street, beginning approximately 617 feet from the intersection of West Main Street and ending approximately 640 feet therefrom.
(7) 
On the west side of Walnut Street, beginning approximately 790 feet from the intersection of West Main Street and ending approximately 856.5 feet therefrom.
A. 
Core parking meter locations parking fee. The core parking meter locations parking meter fee shall be $1 per hour; provided, however, that the first 15 minutes of parking shall be free.
B. 
Secondary parking meter locations parking fee. The secondary parking meter locations parking meter fee shall be $0.50 per hour.
A. 
It shall be unlawful to stop or park a vehicle at a parking meter without paying the applicable fee set forth in § 268-3, or to permit a vehicle to remain stopped or parked longer than the period of time for which the fee was paid, during the following: Mondays through Fridays, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., prevailing time.
B. 
The fees set forth in § 268-3 shall not apply during the following days: Saturdays, Sundays, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
C. 
Markings shall be placed by the Borough in the street or on the curb to designate a metered parking space for each parking meter. Vehicles shall be parked so that the front of the vehicle is nearest the parking meter. A vehicle shall not be parked in a manner which crosses any line or marking designating a metered parking spot. The provisions of this section shall apply to parallel and diagonal on-street metered parking spaces.
D. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to deface, injure, tamper with or willfully break, destroy or impair the usefulness of any parking meter installed in the Borough, and it shall be unlawful to deposit any substitute for the currency accepted by a parking meter in that parking meter.
A. 
It shall be the duty of the members of the Police Department of the Borough, acting in accordance with instructions issued by the Chief of Police, to report:
(1) 
The number of any parking meter which indicates that a vehicle occupying a parking space adjacent thereto is or has been parked in violation of any of the provisions of this article;
(2) 
The license number of such vehicle; and
(3) 
Any other facts or information, knowledge of which is necessary or useful to a thorough understanding of the circumstances of such violation.
B. 
Each police officer or parking enforcement officer noting a violation by a vehicle under this article shall also place on such vehicle a notice to the owner or operator thereof that the vehicle was parked in violation of this article. The notice shall indicate that:
(1) 
The owner or operator of said vehicle has the option of making payment (in person or by mail) in the amount of $15 to the Borough of Lansdale, One Vine Street, Lansdale, Pennsylvania, 19446, within seven days after the date and time set forth on the notice (excluding weekends and holidays);

(2) 
Payments which are made in person must be made at Lansdale Borough Hall, One Vine Street, Lansdale, Pennsylvania, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding weekends and holidays; and
(3) 
Timely payment of the amount set forth in the notice shall save the violator from prosecution and from payment of the fines prescribed in § 370-35B of Chapter 370, Vehicles and Traffic.
C. 
The Lansdale Borough Chief of Police may, in his or her sole discretion, temporarily prohibit parking in a metered parking spot in the interest of public safety or welfare.
D. 
Nothing in this article shall be construed to prevent the Borough Council, the Borough Police Chief or their respective designees from designating no parking at a parking meter for such reasons or purposes as are allowed by law or as may be designated by motion, resolution or ordinance of the Borough Council.

A. 
Location: at the intersection of West Main Street and Susquehanna Avenue, with vehicular access to Susquehanna Avenue.
B. 
General designation of parking spots. The West Main Street Lot consists of 15 parking spaces which shall be designated as follows:
(1) 
All parking spaces in the West Main Street Lot are hereby designated as core parking meter locations.
A. 
Location: northeast of Main Street and southeast of Second Street, with vehicular access to Main Street and Second Street.
B. 
General designation of parking spots. The Walnut Street Lot consists of 22 parking spaces which shall be designated as follows:
(1) 
All parking spaces in the Walnut Street Lot are hereby designated as secondary parking locations.
A. 
Location: bordered by Susquehanna Avenue on the southeast side, Derstine Avenue on the northeast side and Vine Street on the southwest side, with vehicular access to Vine Street and Derstine Avenue.
B. 
General designation of parking spots. The Susquehanna Avenue Lot consists of 25 parking spaces which shall be designated as follows:
(1) 
All parking spaces are hereby designated as secondary parking locations.
A. 
Location: bordered by Vine Street to the northeast side and Susquehanna Avenue to the southeast side, with vehicular access to Vine Street and Susquehanna Avenue.
B. 
General designation of parking spots. The Vine Street Lot consists of 18 parking spaces which shall be designated as follows:
(1) 
All parking spaces are hereby designated as secondary parking locations.
C. 
The rate for parking in the Vine Street Parking Lot shall be $0.50 for every six hours of parking, which rate shall be in effect 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

A. 
Location: bordered by Church Road on the west side and the Septa Rail Line on the north side, with vehicular access to Church Road.
B. 
General designation of parking spots. The Church Road Lot consists of 162 parking spaces which shall be designated as follows:
(1) 
Forty-two parking spaces are hereby designated as secondary parking locations.
(2) 
One hundred twenty parking spaces are hereby designated as commuter parking locations.

A. 
Location: bordered by Wood Street (both sides of Wood Street north of Madison Street), Madison Street, and the Bethlehem Branch Railroad Line, with vehicular access to Wood Street and Madison Street.
B. 
General designation of parking spots. The Madison Street Lot consists of 157 parking spaces, which shall be designated as follows:
(1) 
Twelve spaces, thirty-minute maximum: free.
(2) 
One hundred twenty-one spaces, two-hour maximum: $0.50 per hour.
(3) 
Twenty-four spaces, six-hour maximum: $0.25 per every three hours.
A. 
Core parking locations parking fee. The core parking locations parking fee shall be $1 per hour; provided, however, that the first 15 minutes of parking shall be free.
B. 
Secondary parking locations parking fee. The secondary parking locations parking fee shall be $0.50 per hour.
C. 
Commuter parking locations parking fee. The commuter parking locations parking fee shall be $1 per day.
A. 
Unless otherwise posted at a municipal lot, vehicles may be parked in all municipal lots at any time, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
B. 
It shall be unlawful to stop or park a vehicle in a parking space, including a designated handicapped parking space, in a municipal parking lot without paying the applicable fee set forth in § 268-12 or to permit a vehicle to remain stopped or parked longer than the period of time for which the applicable fee was paid.
C. 
The fees set forth in § 268-12 shall not apply during the following days: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
D. 
Lines or markings shall be painted or placed by the Borough in all municipal lots or on parking meters or kiosks within municipal lots to designate the applicable fee. A vehicle shall not be parked in a manner which crosses any line or marking designating a parking space.
E. 
Signs shall be placed adjacent to and/or markings shall be painted or placed in all parking spaces located in municipal lots to designate handicapped parking spaces. A vehicle shall not be parked in a designated handicapped parking space without displaying a handicapped parking placard or license plate.
F. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to deface, injure, tamper with or willfully break, destroy or impair the usefulness of any parking meter or kiosk installed in the Borough, and it shall be unlawful to deposit any substitute for the currency accepted by a parking meter or kiosk in the applicable parking meter or kiosk.
A. 
It shall be the duty of the members of the Police Department of the Borough and parking enforcement officers, acting in accordance with instructions issued by the Chief of Police, to report:
(1) 
The number of any parking meter or the number of the parking space and municipal lot at which a vehicle occupying a parking space is or has been parked in violation of any of the provisions of this article;
(2) 
The license number of such vehicle identified pursuant to Subsection A hereinabove; and
(3) 
Any other facts or information, knowledge of which is necessary or useful to a thorough understanding of the circumstances of a violation of this article.
B. 
Each police officer or parking enforcement officer noting a violation by a vehicle under this article shall also place on such vehicle a notice to the owner or operator thereof that the vehicle was parked in violation of this article, which notice shall indicate that:
(1) 
The owner or operator of said vehicle has the option of making payment (in person or by mail) in the amount of $15 to the Borough of Lansdale, One Vine Street, Lansdale, Pennsylvania, 19446, within seven days after the date and time set forth on the notice (excluding weekends and holidays);

The Lansdale Borough Chief of Police may, in his or her sole discretion, temporarily suspend payment of applicable fees in municipal parking lots in the interest of public safety or welfare.
E. 
Nothing in this article shall be construed to prevent the Borough Council, the Borough Police Chief or their respective designees from designating no parking at a parking space in a municipal lot for such reasons or purposes as are allowed by law or as may be designated by motion, resolution or ordinance of the Borough Council.
