GENERAL REFERENCES
Licenses and permits — See Ch. 84.
No solicitation or offer to buy or sell any foods, items or
services shall be made at any household without a permit. Such a permit
may be issued to any reputable person by the Police Department upon
payment of a fee in an amount set from time to time by the Board of
Selectmen, said permit to be effective for the calendar year of its
issue. Solicitors for nonprofit charitable and religious organizations
shall be exempt from paying any fee for such permit.
This bylaw shall not apply to persons who are otherwise licensed
to perform their trade or business or to students in connection with
any enterprise related to their school system.
