A. 
A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk of City of Seymour, being marked and designated as the International Building Code, 2012 Edition, including Appendix Chapters 2012 International Building Code, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Building Code of the City of Seymour in the State of Missouri for regulating and governing the conditions and maintenance of all property, buildings and structures; by providing the standards for supplied utilities and facilities and other physical things and conditions essential to ensure that structures are safe, sanitary and fit for occupation and use; and the condemnation of buildings and structures unfit for human occupancy and use and the demolition of such structures as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Building Code on file in the office of the City of Seymour are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Section, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Subsection (B) of this Section.
B. 
During any period in which the 2012 International Building Code is unavailable to the City Clerk for any reason not under the control of the City of Seymour, the 2006 International Building Code shall be an acceptable temporary substitute.

A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk of City of Seymour, being marked and designated as the International Mechanical Code, 2012 Edition, including Appendix Chapters 2012 International Mechanical Code — Turbo Tabs, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Mechanical Code of the City of Seymour in the State of Missouri for regulating and governing the conditions and maintenance of all property, buildings and structures; by providing the standards for supplied utilities and facilities and other physical things and conditions essential to ensure that structures are safe, sanitary and fit for occupation and use; and the condemnation of buildings and structures unfit for human occupancy and use and the demolition of such structures as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Mechanical Code on file in the office of the City of Seymour are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Section, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Subsection (B) of this Section.

A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of City Clerk of City of Seymour, being marked and designated as "The National Electrical Code" the 1996 Edition published by the National Fire Protection Association, is hereby adopted as the Electrical Code of the City of Seymour for regulating the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of electrical systems in the City of Seymour providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions and terms of such National Electrical Code, 1996 Edition, published by the National Fire Protection Association on file in the office of the City of Seymour are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this Section.
B. 
Fees. The Fee Schedule is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
C. 
Penalty. Any person violating any of the provisions of the code hereby adopted shall be deemed guilty of an ordinance violation and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in an amount not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) or be imprisoned in the County Jail for a period of not exceeding ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day such violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such hereunder.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this Chapter or any of the Codes adopted in this Chapter shall be deemed guilty of an ordinance violation and upon conviction thereof shall be punished as set out in Section 100.220. Each day such violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such hereunder.
