All regular meetings shall be held in the Board of Aldermen
chambers (Council chambers) of City Hall.

A. The Board of Aldermen shall meet in regular session on the first (1st) and third (3rd) Monday of each month at 6:00 P.M., provided that if a meeting falls on a holiday, as set out in Section
117.370 of the Lake Saint Louis Municipal Code, or on the third Monday of January, Martin Luther King Jr., day, the meeting shall take place on the next secular day at the same hour. Adjourned meetings, for lack of a quorum present or reasons determined by the Board, may be held at such time as the Board may determine.

B. Regular
meetings may be postponed by the Mayor or two (2) members of the Board
of Aldermen, with the consent of not less than four (4) members of
the Board of Aldermen, to a set date and time for good cause, which
may include the convenience of the Board, the convenience of the public,
or the convenience of staff. Notice of the set date and time for the
postponed meeting shall be submitted to the City Clerk who shall give
notice to each Board member not less than seventy-two (72) hours before
the regular scheduled meeting. The notice need not be in writing but
shall include the date and time for the postponed meeting. The reason
for the postponement and the names of the concurring Aldermen shall
be set forth in the minutes of the postponed meeting. Failure of any
Alderman to receive actual notice of the postponement as provided
herein in a timely manner shall not preclude the postponement, provided
the City Clerk has made a reasonable attempt to provide notice to
such Aldermen.

Special meetings may be called by two (2) or more members of
the Board of Aldermen or by the Mayor. The City Clerk is hereby directed
to prepare a written notice of any special meeting, setting forth
the date and time of such meeting, the place such meeting is to be
held, and the general subject matter to be discussed. Such written
notice shall be prepared as soon as practicable after the announcement
of any such special meeting and shall be prominently displayed on
a bulletin board in City Hall, and shall comply with all other aspects
of Chapter 610, RSMo.

A majority of the members elected to the Board of Aldermen shall
constitute a quorum to do business.
