A.
No person shall be appointed to serve on any City board or committee who shall at the time of said appointment be in arrears for any unpaid City taxes.
B.
No person, having been duly appointed, shall continue to serve on any City board or committee who during the term of said appointment falls in arrears of any unpaid tax.
C.
Upon receipt and approval of the City Collector's report of delinquent taxes, the Board of Aldermen shall determine if any appointed committee or board member shall be in arrears of unpaid City taxes. Upon said determination, the committee or board member may be so removed by a two-thirds (2\3) vote of all the members elected to the Board of Aldermen independently of the Mayor's approval or recommendation.
D.

In the event the City's attendance records show unexcused absent for more than three (3) consecutive regularly scheduled meetings for any appointed committee or board member, the Board of Aldermen, by motion duly made and receiving an affirmative vote of the majority, may find said person to have forfeited, vacated or abandoned his/her appointment, and the Mayor, with the consent of the majority of the Board of Aldermen, shall fill such vacancy for the remainder of said term.
E.
Except for boards and commissions authorized specifically by State Statutes, members may be removed by a recommendation from the Mayor and a concurring majority vote of the Board of Aldermen.
