As used in this Article, the following terms shall have these
prescribed meanings:
CUSTODIAN
A parent, guardian or other adult person having the legal
responsibility for the care and custody of a minor.
MINOR
Any person under the age of eighteen (18) years.
PERMIT
To knowingly or to fail to prevent, due to lack of reasonable
efforts, to supervise and control.
REMAIN
To unnecessarily tarry, stay, loiter or idle.
It shall be unlawful for any custodian to permit a minor under
his/her control to wander about or to remain in or upon any public
street, road, avenue, alley, park or other public place as prohibited
by this Section except in the case of necessity.
