A. All motor
vehicles stopped or parked upon a two-way roadway where parking is
permitted shall be parked that the right-hand wheels of the vehicle
are parallel to and within eighteen (18) inches of the right-hand
curb or edge of the roadway. Parking of vehicles on streets within
the City limits shall be parallel to the curb line, except where angle
parking is specifically authorized.
B. All vehicles
stopped or parked upon a one-way street or roadway where parking is
permitted shall be so stopped or parked that the right-hand wheels
of the vehicle are parallel to and within eighteen (18) inches of
the right-hand curb or edge or the roadway, or the left-hand wheels
of said vehicle within eighteen (18) inches of the left-hand curb
or edge of the roadway in the direction of the authorized traffic
movement.
On those streets which have been signed or marked by the City
Traffic Engineer for angle parking, no person shall park or stand
a vehicle other than at the angle to the curb or edge of the roadway
indicated by such signs or markings.
