The Board of Aldermen hereby adopts the 2018 International Mechanical Code as published by the International Code Council, Inc., and all referenced standards, including Appendix A as if spelled out herein, save and except such portions thereof as are hereinafter deleted, modified, or amended, for regulating the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of mechanical systems in the City of Ozark. A copy of said code is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Ozark, Missouri.

A. 
The 2018 International Mechanical Code, as adopted, is hereby amended and changed as follows:
1. 
Amend Section 101.1 to add the following language: City of Ozark.
2. 
Delete the language in Sections 103.1, 103.2 and 103.3 in their entirety and insert, in lieu thereof, the following language: See Chapter 1 of the 2018 International Building Code.
3. 
Delete Section 106.5.1 in its entirety.
4. 
Delete the language in Section 106.5.2, Fee Schedule, in its entirety and insert, in lieu thereof, the following language: For Section 106.5.2 See Section 500.190 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Ozark.
5. 
Delete the language in Section 106.5.3, in its entirety and insert, in lieu thereof, the following language: See Section 109.6 of the International Building Code.
6. 
Delete the language in Section 108.4 in its entirety and insert, in lieu thereof, the following language: The penalties are set forth in Section 500.200 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Ozark.
7. 
Amend Section 108.5 by deleting the last sentence of that Section and adding, in lieu thereof, the following language: Any person who shall continue any work on the system having been served with a stop work order, except such work as that person is directed to perform to remove a violation or unsafe condition, shall be liable for a fine as prescribed in Section 500.200 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Ozark.
8. 
Delete Section 109 in its entirety.
