A. Commercial
and industrial consumers of water in the City of Charleston, Missouri,
where the amount of water that is used is determined by use of water
meters as provided in other ordinances, shall pay for water used based
upon the following rates per month:

A. Water
customers of the City of Charleston, Missouri, shall pay for water
used at the following rates:
1. Residential. A flat rate of twenty-six dollars forty-three cents
($26.43) per month, unless they are found to have continuous flowing
water. The monthly charge for tax on residential water shall be two
dollars ten cents ($2.10).
2. Multi-Family Residential. A flat rate of twenty-six dollars forty-three
cents ($26.43) per month for each living unit unless the customer
chooses to install a meter. The monthly charge for tax on residential
water shall be two dollars ten cents ($2.10).
3. Commercial. Metered rates as established in Section
700.030.
4. Industrial. Metered rates as established in Section
700.030 unless water is sold in bulk.
B. In
the case of multi-family residential housing facilities, the residential
water and sewer rates described above, including late payment fees,
shall apply to all living units contained within the facility.

The City may sell bulk water at a fee to be determined by the
City Manager or his/her designee.
