That a certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in
the office of the City Clerk of the City of Farmington, Missouri,
being marked and designated as the International Private Sewage Disposal
Code, 2003 Edition, as published by the International Code Council,
be and is hereby adopted as the Private Sewage Disposal Code of the
City of Farmington in the State of Missouri regulating and governing
the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation,
alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to,
use or maintenance of individual sewage disposal systems as herein
provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of
fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties,
conditions and terms of said Private Sewage Disposal Code on file
in the office of the City Clerk are hereby referred to, adopted, and
made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this legislation, with
the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed
in 500.170 of this Article.

Code, 2015 Edition, are hereby revised as follows:

Section 108 Means of Appeal is hereby deleted and replaced with
the following:
SECTION 108 MEANS OF APPEAL
108.1 Appeals. Applications for appeal of a decision of the
code official shall be made in accordance with Section 113 and Appendix
B of the Building Code.
Section 325: Private Sewage Disposal Systems shall comply with
the following procedures and specifications.
1. The owner shall operate and maintain private wastewater disposal
facilities in a sanitary manner at all times, at no expense to the
City.
2. No statement contained in this code shall be construed to
interfere with any additional requirements that may be imposed by
the County Health Department or Department of Natural Resources.
3. When a public sewer becomes available, and the building sewer
is connected thereto, the private wastewater disposal system shall
be cleaned of sludge and filled with clean bank-run gravel or dirt.
