No structure or building of a portable nature and over 150 square
feet and no vehicle of any kind, trailer or tractor shall be permitted
to be located or operated upon a lot in any residence, business, office,
institutional or industrial district for dwelling purposes or for
the purpose of selling food, merchandise or commodities of any kind,
nor shall such portable structure, building or vehicle be permitted
in the aforesaid districts for any other purpose except as herein
permitted or without prior approval of the Board of Adjustment.
No steps or exterior stairways, open or enclosed, except as
permitted herein shall be erected upon or attached to the front, side
or rear of any building in any residence district, but nothing herein
shall bar the front or side porch steps or front or side entrances
to the first floor or basement only. Fire escapes are required as
provided by state laws concerning multifamily dwellings.
No internal-combustion engine shall be operated except for vehicular
traction or where essential for the emergency use of a public utility,
but this shall not be construed to prohibit lawn mower engines and
portable garden tools or the installation and operation of an internal-combustion
engine to generate electrical current for the sole use of the particular
premises whereon the same is located, provided that the same have
and use proper or approved mufflers to deaden exhaust noises.
Any use or purpose which will create or which is likely to create
conditions of hazard, smoke, fumes, noise, odor or dust detrimental
to the health, safety or general welfare of the community is prohibited.
All outside fireplaces, grills and the like shall not be built
closer than one foot to the property line.
A kennel or doghouse for not more than two dogs shall not be
considered to be a building within the terms of this chapter.

A. Definitions. As used in this section, the following terms shall have
the meanings indicated:
DISH-TYPE ANTENNA
A saucer- or circular-shaped antenna functioning as an antenna
for reception of television programming. Such objects are also known
as "satellite dishes," "satellite earth stations" and "home video
earth stations."
B. Regulating dish-type antennas. Dish-type antennas shall be regulated
in the Borough of Bellmawr in accordance with this section.
C. Location. A property owner in the Borough of Bellmawr is permitted
to install and/or erect one dish-type antenna on such owner's property.
The dish-type antenna must be installed and/or erected on ground level;
roof or tower installations are prohibited. The dish-type antenna
must be installed and/or erected in the rear yard of the property;
side yard and front yard installations are prohibited. The dish-type
antenna must have a concrete foundation, and supportive structure
must be a minimum of 10 feet from the side property line on either
side. The side setback on a corner lot is to be 30 feet.
D. Height and area. The dish-type antenna, its foundation pad and supportive
structure may not exceed a maximum height of seven feet above ground
level and may not exceed a maximum of 12 feet of antenna surface area.
E. The dish-type antenna must be enclosed on all sides by use of fencing
to a height not to exceed four feet.
F. Site plan. The property owner must obtain a building permit as per
other applicable ordinances and regulations of the Borough of Bellmawr.
