The provisions of this article shall apply except when it is necessary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or official traffic control device.
Wherever a space shall be marked off for the parking of an individual vehicle on any street, highway, public parking lot or private parking lot that is open to the general public, every vehicle there parked shall be parked within the lines or markings bounding such space.
The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited at all times in those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIII (§ 325-55).
The stopping of vehicles is hereby prohibited in those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIV (§ 325-56).
The standing of vehicles is hereby prohibited in those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XV (§ 325-57).
The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited in those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XVI (§ 325-58) during the hours indicated.

The owner or operator of any commercial vehicle, as defined in this chapter, shall not park said vehicle on any street, avenue, lane, road or other public thoroughfare in the Town of North Castle between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. (prevailing time).
The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited in those streets or parts of streets for a longer period of time than that specified during the hours indicated in Schedule XVII (§ 325-59).
The standing or parking of vehicles, except for the express purpose of loading or unloading of merchandise and goods, is hereby prohibited in the locations designated in Schedule XVIII (§ 325-60).
No person shall park a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIX (§ 325-61) except at the angle designated and only within the painted white stall lines.
The locations described in Schedule XX (§ 325-62) are hereby designated as bus stops, and the parking or standing of vehicles other than buses is hereby prohibited in such locations.
The locations described in Schedule XXI (§ 325-63) are hereby designated as taxi stands, and the parking or standing of vehicles other than taxis is hereby prohibited in such locations. Taxis using such stands shall not be left unattended and shall be subject to all other vehicle and traffic regulations of the Town.
A. 
The Police Department may, in times of emergency or when necessity requires, prohibit the parking of vehicles on any street, avenue or property hereinbefore or hereinafter referred to, where such parking, in its opinion, would interfere with snow or ice removal or repairs to the street or might endanger the public in the use of any such street, avenue or property, and the posting of printed notices in the area affected shall be sufficient notice to the public of such fact, and all persons shall comply therewith.
B. 
The Police Department or its duly authorized agents shall attach to any vehicle parked in violation of any provision of the previous Subsection A, except when a vehicle is towed away as provided herein, a notice to the owner or operator thereof instructing such owner or operator to report to the police station of said Town in regard to such violation.
A. 
Parking for police vehicles. There shall be no parking for any vehicles other than police vehicles in the designated area at the rear of headquarters.
B. 
North White Plains Fire Department Parking Lot.
(1) 
No person or persons shall stop, stand or park a vehicle within the Town of North Castle North White Plains Fire Department Parking Lot for a longer period than two consecutive hours. Any person violating this subsection shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine not to exceed $10 for the first offense and $25 for any subsequent offense or imprisonment not to exceed 10 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
(2) 
No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle in the area designated as "permit parking only" without a valid permit issued by the Town Clerk.
C. 
Commercial complex at 450 Main Street. There shall be no parking or standing on the westerly side of the commercial complex at 450 Main Street from a point at the southwest corner of the building for a distance of 215 feet more or less in a northerly direction to the northeast corner of the building. Noncompliance with this provision shall be a violation.

D. 
North White Plains Shopping Center. There shall be no parking in any entranceway, exit, marked passageway or at the curbsides at any place in the North White Plains Shopping Center located at Reservoir Road at the Central Westchester Parkway.
E. 
Town Hall Complex Parking Lots. There shall be no parking in any entranceway, exit, marked passageway or at the curbsides leading to or from any of the parking lots at the Town Hall Complex.

F. 
Fisher Lane Commuter Parking Lot. No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle in this area, which is designated as "permit parking only," without displaying a valid permit issued by the Town Clerk.

Virginia Road Permit Lot. No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle in this area, which is designated as "permit parking only," without displaying a valid permit issued by the Town Clerk.

H. 
Town of North Castle Community Center in North White Plains. Upper and Lower Parking Lots. No person or persons shall stand or park a vehicle within the Town of North Castle Community Center Upper and Lower Parking Lots at any time between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.

I. 
Clove Road off-street parking area. There shall be no parking or standing at any time of commercial or livery vehicles on the north side of roadway from Broadway to Emmalon Avenue for a distance of 170 feet.

J. 
Washington Avenue off-street parking area. There shall be no parking or standing at any time of commercial or livery vehicles from a point 390 feet north of its intersection with Washington Place East on west side of roadway.

It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to store any vehicle on any public highway within the Town of North Castle for more than five consecutive days.

The locations described in Schedule XXII (§ 325-64) are hereby designated as parking spaces for handicapped persons, and the parking or standing of vehicles other than those belonging to handicapped persons is hereby prohibited in such locations.
