Borough of Upper Saddle River, NJ Article IV Permits

§ 98-20 Permits required.

Any group or gathering of 10 people or more, inclusive of both adults and children, shall be required to have a permit to picnic, barbeque, or hold any other activity or event within any Borough park. The application for such a permit must be submitted at least two weeks before the date sought in the application for use of the park area. The application shall be accompanied by any required fee as provided in this article.

§ 98-21 Fees to be paid by groups or gatherings.

Any Borough resident, Borough organization or business located within the Borough shall be exempt from the requirement of paying a fee. The fee for any nonresident, organization or business not located within the Borough shall be $250 for up to 20 persons and an additional $20 for each additional person.

§ 98-22 Violations and penalties.

For violation of any provision of this article, the penalty shall be in accordance with § 1-15 of the Borough Code.
