A. 
Each business shall make arrangements with private commercial refuse haulers for the removal and disposal of all solid refuse materials from the premises of the business.
B. 
All solid refuse material shall be removed from the premises and disposed of with sufficient frequency and in such a manner as to prevent a nuisance. All businesses in which food or beverage are served, sold, manufactured or processed shall remove and dispose of such refuse not less often than twice weekly. All other businesses shall remove and dispose of such refuse not less often than once weekly.

All solid refuse shall, prior to disposal, be kept in leak-proof, non-absorbent containers which shall be kept covered with tight-fitting lids.

The Building Official or his/her designate shall be charged with the enforcement of this Article. Any business found to be in violation of this Article shall receive notice of the violation and shall be given a specified period of time within which to remedy the situation giving rise to the violation. Failure to remedy the situation within the specified time shall result in the issuance of a court summons. Upon conviction of a violation under this Article, punishment as set out in Section 100.080 of this Code shall be imposed.
