A. The International Plumbing Code, 2018 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Plumbing Code of the City of Brentwood, Missouri, regulating and governing the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of plumbing systems as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Plumbing Code on file in the office of the City Clerk are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Section
500.740, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes prescribed below.
B. The
following Sections are hereby revised to read as follows:
1. Section 101.1. Title These regulations shall be
known as the International Plumbing Code of the City of Brentwood.
2. Section 106.6.2. Fee schedule. The fees for all plumbing work shall be as indicated in the fee schedule of the Municipal Code, Appendix A to Chapter
500.
3. Section 106.6.3. Fee refunds. TThe code official
shall authorize the refunding of fees as prescribed in Appendix "A"
of the Brentwood Municipal Code.
4. Section 108.4 Violation penalties. Any person who violates a provision of this code or fails to comply with any of the requirements thereof or who erects, constructs, alters or repairs a building or structure in violation of the approved construction documents or directive of the Building Official, or of a permit or certificate issued under the provisions of this code, shall be punishable in accordance with the provisions of Section
100.080 of the Brentwood City Code.
5. Section 305.4.1. Sewer depth. Building Sewers must
be thirty (30) inches below grade.
6. Section 903.1. Roof extension. Open vent pipes that
extend through a roof shall be terminated not less than six (6) inches
above the roof. Where a roof is to be used for assembly or as a promenade,
observation deck, sunbathing deck or similar purposes, open vent pipes
shall terminate not less than seven (7) feet (2134 mm) above the roof.
