A. The
boat ramp located on the harbor peninsula shall be reserved for boat
placement in or out of the water. Persons shall place or retrieve
their boats in a safe manner and shall do so as quickly as conditions
permit.
B. The
dock located beside the boat ramp shall have its main use as a short-term
docking area for the loading and unloading of passengers and equipment.
Individuals may fish from this dock understanding that the primary
usage is for docking of boats.
C. That
the boat slips along the shoreline of the harbor on the community
building side shall be for the long and short term parking of boats.
Long term parking shall be limited to one (1) week with prior approval.
Notification of overnight stays, longer stays and use of electrical
plug ins located on the community building side boat slips must be
given at City offices. Fees for an electrical outlet are twenty-five
dollars ($25.00) for twenty-four (24) hours.

D. The
dock located across from the boat ramp on the City side of the harbor
shall be considered a fishing dock for the general public usage. Boat
docking shall be for emergency or loading and unloading of passengers
only. Persons operating boats shall do so in a safe and respectful
manner.
E. Signage
shall be placed for notification of the usage of all boat ramps, boat
slips and boat docks.
F. Fishing And Netting Restrictions.[Ord. No. 190 §1, 6-15-2015]

It is prohibited to fish, dive, or swim from the boardwalk.
2.
There shall be no throwing of nets from the boardwalk and the
docks.
3.
Fishing from the boat slips is prohibited when the slips are
reserved and the City has posted signs indicating that the slips are
reserved.
