The speed limits of Tipton are set out below:

15-06	There is hereby established a speed limit on Missouri Highway 5 within the corporate limits of the City of Tipton, Missouri:
	Beginning at the center of the intersection of U.S. Highway 50, Missouri Highway 5 and Route B, thence south on Missouri Highway 5 to Wade Boulevard.	40 m.p.h.
	Beginning south of Wade Boulevard to the South City limits.	50 m.p.h.
16-07	There is hereby established a speed limit on High Street within the corporate limits of the City of Tipton, Missouri:
	Beginning at High Street, South of U.S. Highway 50 and continuing south to South Street being a distance of 662 feet.	15 m.p.h.
	Any person found guilty of violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be sentenced and fined in accordance with RSMo. Sections 479.353 through 479.530 as currently enacted and amended.
16-15	There is hereby established a speed limit on Moniteau Street within the corporate limits of the City of Tipton, Missouri:
	Beginning at the intersection of Moniteau Street and Gravois Avenue, going west to the intersection of Moniteau Street and Osage Avenue.	25 m.p.h.
	Beginning at the intersection of Moniteau Street and Osage Avenue, going west to the intersection of Moniteau Street and S Moreau Avenue.	15 m.p.h.
	Any person found guilty of violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be sentenced and fined in accordance with Sections 479.353 through 479.530, RSMo., as currently enacted and amended.

Any person found guilty of violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), or by confinement in the City or County Jail for no more than one (1) year or both such fine and confinement.
