All City elections shall be conducted and held in conformance
with the provisions of Chapter 115, RSMo.

A. A municipal
election for the qualified voters of this City shall be held on the
first (1st) Tuesday after the first (1st) Monday in April of each
year.
B. On
the first (1st) Tuesday after the first (1st) Monday in April, 2001,
and every four (4) years thereafter, a municipal election of the qualified
voters of the City of Pine Lawn shall be held for the purpose of electing
a Mayor who shall hold his/her office for a term of four (4) years
and until his/her successor is elected and qualified.
C. On
the first (1st) Tuesday after the first (1st) Monday in April of even-numbered
years, a municipal election of the qualified voters of the City of
Pine Lawn shall be held for the purpose of electing one (1) Alderman
from each ward who shall hold his/her office for a term of two (2)
years and until his/her successor is elected and qualified.
D. On
the first (1st) Tuesday after the first (1st) Monday in April of odd-numbered
years, a municipal election of the qualified voters of the City of
Pine Lawn shall be held for the purpose of electing one (1) Alderman
from each ward who shall hold his/her office for a term of two (2)
years and until his/her successor is elected and qualified.
Any person who desires to become a candidate for an elective
City office at the general City election shall file with the City
Clerk, not prior to the hour of 8:00 A.M. on the sixteenth (16th)
Tuesday prior to nor later than 5:00 P.M. on the eleventh (11th) Tuesday
prior to the next City municipal election, a written declaration of
his/her intent to become a candidate at said election. The City Clerk
shall keep a permanent record of the names of the candidates, the
offices for which they seek election, and the date of their filing,
and their names shall appear on the ballots in that order.

A. No
candidate for the office of Mayor or Board of Aldermen shall be placed
on the official ballot who resides in a residence within the City
of Pine Lawn, Missouri, that is delinquent in real estate taxes at
the time of filing.
B. The
City Clerk shall reject the filing of candidacy from any person who
resides in a residence that is delinquent in payment of its real estate
taxes at the time of filing and shall not place said individual on
the official ballot certified to the St. Louis County Board of Election
Commissioners.
The City Clerk shall, on or before the sixteenth (16th) Tuesday
prior to any election at which City offices are to be filled by said
election, notify the general public of the opening filing date, the
office or offices to be filled, the proper place for filing, and the
closing filing date of the election. Such notification may be accomplished
by legal notice published in at least one (1) newspaper of general
circulation in the City.
The form of said written declaration of candidacy shall be substantially

In City elections, the City Clerk shall notify the Board of
Election Commissioners prior to 5:00 P.M. on the tenth (10th) Tuesday
prior to any City election except as noted in Section 115.125.1, RSMo.
The notice shall be in writing, shall specify that the Board of Aldermen
is calling the election, the purpose of the election, the date of
the election, and shall include a certified copy of the legal notice
to be published including the sample ballot. The notice and any other
information required by this Section may, with the prior notification
to the election authority receiving the notice, be accepted by facsimile
transmission prior to 5:00 P.M. on the tenth (10th) Tuesday prior
to the election, provided that the original copy of the notice and
a certified copy of the legal notice to be published shall be received
in the office of the election authority within three (3) business
days from the date of the facsimile transmission.

When two (2) or more persons shall have an equal number of votes
for any elected office of the City, the matter shall be determined
as provided in Chapter 115, RSMo.

At any general or special election, all candidates filing for
any public office for the City of Pine Lawn shall at the time of filing
pay to the City Clerk a fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) which
shall be paid into the General Revenue Fund of the City of Pine Lawn.

A. The
City shall be divided into four (4) wards which are hereby established,
bounded and described as follows:
1. Ward No. 1. Beginning at a point at the intersection
of the westerly City limits of the City limits of the City of St.
Louis, Missouri, and the southerly line of Greer Avenue; thence westwardly
along the southerly limits of the City of Pine Lawn, Missouri, to
the easterly line of Lot 7 of Block 3 of Quinmoor Subdivision; thence
northwardly along the City limits line of Pine Lawn to the northeasterly
corner of Lot 132 of Uplands Subdivision No. 5, which point is in
the limits line of the Village of Velda Village Hills, Missouri; thence
westwardly and northwardly along the common limits line of the Village
of Velda Village Hills and Pine Lawn to the point of intersection
with the southerly limits line of the Village of Uplands Park; thence
eastwardly and northwardly along the common limits line of the Village
of Uplands Park and Pine Lawn to the intersection with the westwardly
line of Dardanella and the centerline of Arden Avenue; thence northwestwardly
along the centerline of Arden Avenue to the centerline of Natural
Bridge Road; thence eastwardly along the centerline of Natural Bridge
Road to the point of intersection of the westerly limits line of the
City of St. Louis, Missouri; thence southwardly along the common limits
line of the Cities of St. Louis, Missouri, and Pine Lawn, Missouri,
to the point of beginning.
2. Ward No. 2. Beginning at a point at the intersection
of the southeastwardly border of Uplands Park and Dardanella; thence
northwestwardly along the common limits line of the Village of Uplands
Park to the center of Natural Bridge Road; thence northwardly and
westwardly along the common limits line of the Village of Uplands
Park and Pine Lawn to the point of intersection with the common limits
line of the City of Northwoods; thence northwardly along the common

of the common limits line of the Cities of St. Louis and Pine Lawn
and the centerline of Damon Place; thence westwardly along the centerline
of Damon Place to the point of intersection with the centerline of
Damon Place, St. Paul Place and Philbrook Avenue; thence northwardly
along the centerline of Philbrook Avenue to the point of intersection
with the centerline of Bircher Boulevard; thence westwardly along
the centerline of Bircher Boulevard to the point of intersection with
the centerline of Oakwood Avenue; thence northwardly and northeasterly
along the centerline of Oakwood Avenue to the point of intersection
with the centerline of Stratford Avenue; thence westwardly along the
centerline of Stratford Avenue to the point of intersection with the
