The Board of Selectmen shall make rules and regulations for
the operation of motor boats upon the rivers, ponds and lakes of the
Town to the end that such motor boats shall not be operated in a manner
which endangers the safety of the public or is detrimental or injurious
to the neighborhood or to the value of the property therein, and provide
penalties of violation of such rules and regulations. (See Boating
Bylaws adopted 3-17-1958.[1])
