No person shall park any vehicle upon a street,
other than an alley, in such a manner or under such conditions as
to leave available less than ten (10) feet of the width of the roadway
for free movement of vehicular traffic.
No person shall park a vehicle within an alley
in such a manner or under such conditions as to leave available less
than ten (10) feet of the width of the roadway for the free movement
of vehicular traffic, and no person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle
within an alley in such position as to block the driveway entrance
to any abutting property.

A. No person shall stand or park a vehicle upon any highway
for the principal purpose of:

Washing, greasing, or repairing such vehicle,
except repairs necessitated by an emergency;
The City Traffic Engineer is authorized to erect
signs upon the left-hand side of any one-way street to prohibit the
standing or parking of vehicles, and when such signs are in place,
no person shall stand or park a vehicle upon such left-hand side in
violation of any such sign.
In the event a highway includes two (2) or more
separate roadways and traffic is restricted to one (1) direction upon
any such roadway, no person shall stand or park a vehicle upon the
left-hand side of such one-way roadway unless signs are erected to
permit such standing or parking. The City Traffic Engineer is authorized
to determine when standing or parking may be permitted upon the left-hand
side of any such one-way roadway and to erect signs giving notice
thereof.

A. No person shall stop, park or leave standing any vehicle
on public property or business premises without the express or implied
consent of the owner, authorized agent of the owner, person in lawful
possession of such premises or property, or other person in charge
thereof.
B. No person shall stop, park or leave standing any vehicle
on public property or business premises at a time, or at a place thereon,
or for a period of time, or in any manner otherwise, which is unauthorized
by the owner, authorized agent of the owner, person in lawful possession
of such premises or property, or other person in charge thereof.
C. Parking in a shopping center or business parking area
or facility for a purpose other than doing business with one (1) or
more of the stores or offices at the site, or for a purpose not related
to such business operation, or remaining parked for longer than reasonably
appropriate to do such business or acts related to such business operations.

It is unlawful to park any trailer on the street
not attached to a vehicle. These vehicles may be parked in your driveway.
If you need to park the trailer in the street, then you must leave
it attached to a vehicle, and it cannot be parked in the street for
more than twenty-four (24) hours.

Commercial truck parking is not allowed in residential
or commercial areas. A "commercial truck" is any vehicle with a gross
vehicle weight of over 10,000 pounds. Commercial truck parking is
only allowed in designated areas of the City.

It is unlawful to park on any unimproved surface,
such as a front lawn, back lawn, side lawn or yard, any grassy area
or dirt. Motor vehicles, motor homes, trailers, campers and boats
must be parked on a paved or gravel surface. Grass and dirt are not
considered to be improved surfaces.
