As used in this Article, the following terms mean:
ENTER UNLAWFULLY or REMAIN UNLAWFULLY
A person enters or remains in or upon premises when he or
she is not licensed or privileged to do so. A person who, regardless
of his or her purpose, enters or remains in or upon premises which
are at the time open to the public does so with license and privilege
unless he or she defies a lawful order not to enter or remain, personally
communicated to him or her by the owner of such premises or by other
authorized person. A license or privilege to enter or remain in a
building which is only partly open to the public is not a license
or privilege to enter or remain in that part of the building which
is not open to the public.
TO TAMPER
To interfere with something improperly, to meddle with it,
displace it, make unwarranted alterations in its existing condition,
or to deprive, temporarily, the owner or possessor of that thing.
UTILITY
An enterprise which provides gas, electric, steam, water,
sewage disposal, or communication, video, internet, or voice over
internet protocol services, and any common carrier. It may be either
publicly or privately owned or operated.
A person commits the offense of reckless burning or exploding
if he/she recklessly starts a fire or causes an explosion and thereby
damages or destroys the property of another.

It shall be unlawful for any person to mar, deface, destroy,
alter or remove any sign erected, placed, belonging to or owned by
the Village of Hanley Hills either by its members, employees or officials
whether said sign or placard is permanent or temporary in nature,
unless at the direction of a Village Official.

An owner or occupier of property within the Village shall remove,
whether by painting over or other means, any graffiti which appears
on his/her property. Failure to remove the graffiti shall be a violation
of this Section.

A. No person, firm or corporation shall dump, deposit, place or leave
any substance or materials of any kind on any property owned or maintained
by the Village of Hanley Hills, Missouri.
B. Although not required to make this Section effective, the Village
shall cause to be erected signs stating "No Dumping" on and about
7449 Allen Green Drive, commonly known as the Village Garage, and
upon other locations as directed by the Village Health Commissioner,
as in his/her sole discretion he/she deems advisable.

All owners, renters, managers and squatters of any real property
located within the Village of Hanley Hills, Missouri are required
to keep the surface of such property covered with vegetation so as
to prevent the erosion of any soil thereon. The vegetation must comply
with the Village requirements not to have grass, weeds or other vegetation
which exceeds eight (8) inches in height and must be kept and maintained
in a good condition.
