The employee must have worked the full scheduled shift on the last
scheduled work day prior to and the next scheduled work day after
such holiday unless the absence is due to a previously approved vacation
or personal day. Sick leave will only be acceptable if approved by
Administration in consultation with the Department Head.
If any of the above listed holidays fall on Sunday, the following
Monday shall be considered the holiday; if on Saturday, the preceding
Friday will be considered the holiday. Administration reserves the
right to adjust holiday schedules.
