This article shall be known and may be cited as the "Chestnuthill Township Stop Intersection and Stop Sign Ordinance."
The stop sign locations/intersections set forth on the "Chestnuthill Township Stop Sign Ordinance Inventory," attached hereto as Exhibit "A"[1] and incorporated herein by reference, are hereby established, designated, authorized and ratified as stop intersections in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, and the erection of official stop signs at all such locations in such positions as to face all traffic approaching these intersections is also authorized and ratified.

All vehicles approaching any of the said stop intersections shall come to a full stop within a reasonable distance before entering such intersections.
Any operator of a motor vehicle who shall fail to come to a full stop within a reasonable distance before entering a stop intersection, as hereinabove required, shall upon conviction thereof be sentenced to pay a fine as provided pursuant to the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code.[1]
