The following fees have been established for various permits, licenses, deposits, inspections, services, etc., referred to throughout the Code of the Township of South Hackensack by reference to Chapter 108, Fees.
The following fees for services and materials are established pursuant to § 52-18 of the Code:

A.Â
The Recreation
Commission may charge a fee for admission to a Township-sponsored
and scheduled event not to exceed $100.
B.Â
The Recreation
Commission shall charge a fee to any nonresident or non resident group
submitting application for approval for use of the Veteran’s
Park field and/or facilities. Said fee shall be $50 per day or in
the event of an application for use on multiple dates the maximum
fee chargeable to said nonresident or nonresident group shall be $300
per calendar year.

Any nonresident or nonresident group shall post with the Township cash or other acceptable form of surety in the amount of $250 to be used or applied towards the costs to repair any damage or to defray the cost of labor and/or material required for cleaning of the park and or facilities. This posting shall in no way restrict the Township or Recreation Commission from requiring further or other security as authorized by Chapter 63, § 63-2B of this Code.
D.Â
For purposes
of this chapter, a nonresident shall be defined as any individual
who cannot produce evidence of residency by virtue of current driver’s
license, deed, lease, current utility bill or other acceptable evidence
of residency. Any group of multiple users shall be considered nonresidents
for purposes of this chapter if more than 51% of the group cannot
produce evidence of residency as required herein.

Pursuant to § 74-2, entitled "Assessment of fee for false alarms," such fee upon the third false alarm and each subsequent false alarm during any single calendar month shall be:
A.Â
Police Department fees.
(1)Â
As to a burglar alarm upon residential property: $25 upon each of
the fifth through 10th false alarm; $50 upon each of the 11th through
20th false alarm; and $75 upon each subsequent false alarm in any
calendar year.
(2)Â
As to a burglar alarm upon nonresidential property: $50 upon each
of the fifth through 10th false alarm; $100 upon each of the 11th
through 20th false alarm; and $200 upon each subsequent false alarm
in any single calendar year.
B.Â
Fire Department fees.
(1)Â
As to a fire alarm upon a residential property: $75 upon each of
the fourth through ninth false alarm; $150 upon each of the 10th through
15th false alarm; $300 upon each of the 16th through the 20th; and
$600 upon each subsequent false alarm in any calendar year.
(2)Â
As to a fire alarm upon a nonresidential property: $200 upon each
of the fourth through ninth false alarm; $400 upon each of the 10th
through 15th false alarm; $800 upon each of the 16th through 20th
false alarm; and $1,600 upon each subsequent false alarm in any single
calendar year.

A.Â
All requests for discovery in the South Hackensack
Municipal Court shall be submitted through the Municipal Prosecutor.
B.Â
The following fees shall be payable by the requestor
to the Township of South Hackensack for the discovery provided:

Actual postage for any discovery sent by mail.
(5)Â
Twenty-five cents for the envelope for any discovery
sent by mail.
(6)Â
Photographs will be photocopied at the rates established
herein. If requests are made for duplicate photographs, the actual
costs of making the photographs shall be charged.

Duplication of videotapes, DVDs, CDs or other electronic information
constitutes an extraordinary duplication process and will be charged
at the rate of $5 plus any additional costs incurred in making said
copies, if applicable.

On any item that cannot be photocopied on the Township
copy machine or not otherwise provided for in this schedule, the actual
cost incurred in making the copy shall be charged.
C.Â
Where the discovery must be obtained from an entity
other than the Township of South Hackensack (i.e., another police
department) the actual cost paid to the other entity shall be paid
by the requestor.
D.Â
Professional fee rates; applicant services.

(1)Â
Review of plans and applications, preparation of resolutions
and other documents related to approval or disapproval of applications,
phone conferences and correspondence at a rate of $100 per hour.
(2)Â
Meetings, other than regularly scheduled public meetings,
with the applicant, its professionals or agents at a rate of $100
per hour plus associated costs at dollar for dollar reimbursement.
(3)Â
Applicants shall post an escrow in the amount of $500
upon the filing of any application from which such fees and costs
will be billed against. The appropriate professional shall notify
the board secretary of any need to increase said escrow and shall
submit detailed bills and invoices and a Township-approved voucher
for the payment of any fees and costs pursuant to this subsection.

The terms of this subsection shall govern the provision
of legal services provided by the legal counsel to any land use board
of the Township.
