All Townships must have a sign inventory management or assessment
method in place as required by updates to the Federal Manual on Uniform
Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) to address the retroreflectivity of
warning signs.
A.
Lawrence Township, Clearfield County, will evaluate its signs for
retroreflectivity by electronic method.
B.
The Township will develop a database using the software provided
by LTAP (SIM), or other vendors if needed, to manage the sign inventory.
C.
Data collection sheets will be utilized to gather the necessary information
and retained for reference after the database is developed.
