The Board of Commissioners is hereby authorized to appoint a Superintendent of Public Works who shall hold office for a term of one year from the date of appointment by resolution of the Board of Commissioners.

The Superintendent of Public Works shall have general supervision over the maintenance and operation of the Borough's sanitary sewer, and also over the maintenance and upkeep of the streets and roads within the Borough of Mount Ephraim, and such other duties as the Board of Commissioners may, by resolution, from time to time prescribe, and under such rules and regulations as said Board of Commissioners may, by resolution, from time to time adopt.[2]

The Superintendent of Public Works shall receive such salary or compensation as the Board of Commissioners may from time to time fix by a general Salary Ordinance at the beginning of each year.[1]
