[Adopted 3-2-1989 by Ord. No. 547 (Ch. 5A of the 1973 Borough Code)]
Chapter 110 of the Public Laws of 1988[1] of the laws of the State of New Jersey require that each municipal governing body create by ordinance the position of Chief Financial Officer. Therefore, it is the legislative intent of the Borough of Mount Ephraim to comply with the above-stated statute.

The governing body shall appoint a Chief Financial Officer who shall serve a four-year term commencing on January 1 of the year of appointment, or as otherwise established by statute.
