The governing body shall appoint a qualified person or persons to the offices of Zoning Officer and Property Maintenance Enforcement Officer, which person or persons shall hold office for the term of one year commencing on or before May 31 and until his/her successor shall have been appointed and shall have been properly qualified.

The duties of said offices shall be the enforcement of Chapter 525, Zoning, and Chapter 310, Property Maintenance, respectively, of the Code of the Borough of Mount Ephraim.
