There is hereby created and established in the Borough of Mount
Ephraim the office of Deputy Borough Clerk pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-135.
The Deputy Borough Clerk shall be appointed by the governing
body and shall hold office for a term of one year following said appointment.
The Deputy Borough Clerk shall be paid a salary fixed and adopted
by the governing body in the annual Salary Ordinance.
The Deputy Borough Clerk shall assist the Borough Clerk and
have all the powers and perform all the functions and duties of the
Borough Clerk during such times and for such specific periods as the
Borough Clerk shall be absent or disabled and as deemed necessary
by the Board of Commissioners.
