As used in this article, the following words and phrases shall
have the meanings given to them in this section:

gun, which impels a pellet of any kind with a force that can reasonably
be expected to cause bodily harm.
PAINTBALL GUN OR RIFLE
A device designed and manufactured to propel, by gas or air,
an encapsulated gelatin paintball or other projectile containing paint,

or paintball gun or paintball rifle or fire or shoot any bow and arrow,
compound bow or otherwise, or crossbow, within the limits of the Borough

Statutes regulating hunting. Wherever any such conflict may be found
to exist, the provisions of the Uniform Firearms Act or Title 34 shall
prevail. It is however, the intention of Borough Council that the
provisions herein regulating air rifles and paintball guns or rifles
are intended to be more restrictive than provided in state law as
permitted at 18 Pa.C.S.A. § 6304(e).
