As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
ANTENNA
Any exterior transmitting or receiving device mounted on a tower, building or structure and used in communications that radiate or capture electromagnetic waves, digital signals, analog signals, radio frequencies (excluding radar signals), wireless telecommunications signals or other communication signals.
COMMERCIAL MOBILE SERVICES
Cellular telephone services, special mobile radio services and personal communication services as those terms are defined and regulated by the FCC.
FAA
Federal Aviation Administration.
FCC
Federal Communications Commission.
PREEXISTING TOWERS AND ANTENNAS
Any tower or antenna for which a legal building permit was issued and which was constructed and in existence as of May 23, 1996.
SATELLITE DISH ANTENNA
Any parabolic dish, antenna or other device or equipment of whatever nature or kind, the primary purpose of which is to receive television, radio, microwave or other electronic signals from space satellites. Such an antenna shall be considered a "structure" within the meaning of Chapter 290, Zoning, of the Town Code, as amended.
TOWER
A structure designated to support antennas. It includes, without limitation, freestanding towers, guyed towers, lattice towers and monopoles.
ZONING LAW
Chapter 290, Zoning, of the Town Code, as amended.

An applicant or developer shall reimburse the Town for all reasonable and necessary legal, engineering and/or other professional consulting fees incurred by the Town in connection with the proposed project in accordance with Chapter 160, Fees, Article I, of the Town Code.
