No bicycle shall be allowed to proceed in any street in the Village by inertia or momentum with the feet of the rider removed from the bicycle pedals. A rider of a bicycle shall neither remove both hands from the handlebars nor practice any trick nor fancy riding in any street in the Village nor shall any bicycle rider carry or ride any other person so that two persons are on the bicycle at one time, unless a seat is provided for a second person.
No person shall operate a bicycle upon a highway during the hours of darkness unless equipped as required in § 347.489, Wis. Stats.
No bicycle shall be operated on the streets of the Village unless equipped with either a warning bell or horn.
No person shall leave a bicycle at such a place or in such a way as to create a hazard to pedestrians, automobile operators or to anyone else.
Persons riding or using bicycles or other similar vehicles along or upon any public street, avenue, lane, alley or other public road, ground or way within the Village shall not ride more than two abreast excepting in a general parade or public demonstration.
The provisions of Ch. 346, Wis. Stats., shall be applicable to the operation of bicycles where appropriate.
Operators of bicycles shall not drive upon any sidewalk area, except where such operation is permitted. Where permitted, every person operating a bicycle upon a sidewalk shall yield the right-of-way to any pedestrian and shall exercise due care and give an audible signal when passing a bicycle rider or pedestrian proceeding in the same direction.
