Due to the width and composition of various streets within the
Village, it would be in the best interest of the Village residents
to limit truck traffic where the weight of the truck exceeds 10,000
pounds from certain roads for purposes of both safety and to reduce
the need to repair and replace these roads as a result of damage from
heavy trucks.
Trucks weighing in excess of 10,000 pounds shall be prohibited
from operation of said trucks on Deutsch Lane, Coleman Street and
Maurice Rose Street all located in the Village of Woodridge, unless
said trucks are specifically making a delivery to residents or structures
located on those streets.
Any person who shall violate this article shall, upon conviction,
be punished by a fine of not more than $250 or not more than 15 days
in jail, or both.
